Did you know that American Craft Week is coming up in October?
Since we are a small, USA-based family owned business that truly handcrafts our gourmet USDA certified organic body care products — which is a kind of crazy idea in this day and age — we like to support other small, family owned businesses from the US that also handcraft their amazing goods.
Though we like to support fair trade organizations from overseas, we also want to help the backbone of the American industry. With this in mind, we seek out quality handmade jewelry, household items, teas, and more, that were made by small, family owned businesses in the USA. We call this initiative Fair Made USA.
In honor of American Craft Week (Friday, October 4, through Sunday, October 13), we want to bring attention to our Fair Made USA partners. So we are offering their lovingly handcrafted goods at 15% off of normal retail prices. Our own USDA certified organic Terressentials line of body care products is not eligible, though the products are handcrafted in Middletown, Maryland.
Since we have a lot of exotic fair trade wares from far-off lands, it can be hard to tell which items come from closer to home. On every item in our shop, there is a small bar code. That bar code will say where the exquisite and unique item is from. If you have trouble reading the bar code, feel free to ask a Terressentials Team Member for help.
